We are Better Together

Hi there! ๐Ÿ‘‹ It's Julissa from Paper Gems by Jules and I'm happy to share this adorable stamp set by Neat & Tangled called "Better Together."  You'll see how cute these kids are with their stuffed animals in this creatively cut out card.

In order to make this card, you'll need either the die set, or a cutting machine like the Brother Scan n' Cut.  Basically, you would cut the silhouette of the image on the front of the card base and any decorative paper.  (Helpful Hint:  If you're using patterned paper on the SNC, I color in the image with a black marker so that it picks out the image better.)

Once those two pieces are cut out, you can layer them on, leaving the empty space for the character to be placed in and seen from the inside of the card.  You can also use this for word dies, or just a peek-a-boo effect on your next card.

Now to embellish.  I added a cute little teddy bear to this little guys feet.  A complimentary green ribbon and some green sequins to the front of the card.  I stamped the sentiment "Hello There" on the front using Gina K's Amalgam Ink.  But that's not where the fun ends...

Because this little boy is adhered to the inside of the card, you can create a second scene on the inside of the card by adding more characters or another sentiment.  I chose to add a friend and a sentiment saying "Let's Hang Out."  This is a sweet way to say hello to a friend you haven't seen in a while and let them know you miss them.  However, this technique can be used in so many fun ways.  Make sure to share how you'd use this technique using any of the great stamps sold at CraftyDoodleChick.com.
